Hypnotherapy Associations
There are a number of bodies or associations that hypnotherapists can become members of. These hypnotherapy associations provide a code of conduct and support for
hypnotherapists. With training and courses on offer and regular publications describing the latest hypnotherapy
innovations, hypnotherapists are well supported.
There is more than one national hypnosis association in the UK for hypnotherapists to belong to. In practice most hypnotherapists will belong to more than one hypnotherapy association.
General Hypnotherapy Register
This hypnotherapy association also known as the GHR has one of the largest memberships. Steven Harold has been awardet the designations SQHP (Senior Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice and is also a recognised supervisor of other other hypnotherapists by the GHR.
National Council for Hypnotherapy
This hypnotherapy association is also known as the NCH and provides ongoping training to hypnotherapists and an annual conference. It is also one of the largest hypnotherapy associations in the UK.
Association for Professional Hypnosis & Psychotherapy
This hypnotherapy association has a strong presence in the UK where its headquarters are based but also has associations with schools in other countries. An annual conference, quaterly news magazines and on-going training make it one of the top associations for support and furthering the skills of its hypnotherapist members.
