When in the state of hypnosis various phenomena can be
observed and elicited to prove that the person is experiencing a certain level of hypnosis is being experienced.
These phenomena can occur spontaneously and/or encouraged through the power of suggestion.
Typically observed but unsuggested phenomena can be:-
Time Distortion
Amnesia
Dissociation
Catalepsy
Levitation of a limb
Shallow breathing
Rapid eye movement
Phenomena that can be suggested and then observed:-
Could include all the aboive unsuggested phenomena
Revivification - reliving a past event
Age regression or age progression
Past life recall
Automatic writing
Positive and negative hullicination
Anlagesia and anaesthesia
All of the phenomena which can be encouraged by a hypnotherapist's suggestion can sometimes occur
spontaneously and without any suggestion.
When any specific phenomenon is encouraged via any professional and ethical hypnotherapist's suggestions
it is always for the positive intention of therapeutic gain for the client using the state of hypnosis.
