Over Weight and Unfit?

lose weight hypnosis I expect you have tried all the diets.

All of us, at some point in our lives decide that we want to have a different body shape. We may want to lose a few pounds or more. We may decide that we need to put on weight. Many of us turn to diets.

Diets are a multi million pound industry. There are many many types of diets. Some are based on calorie counting, some on keeping different food groups apart at meals and others on substitute drinks or meals. All of them have one thing in common, because they are called diets , they tend to imply a temporary process. Also the word diet itself conjures up fears of having to go without, may be even deprivation. It is no wonder that many people find it difficult to last the course.

A Weight off your Mind

Looking at weight control in a different way may help tremendously in the battle between winning and falling by the way side. Having a different mind set or attitude can give us a different way of looking at what we are trying to achieve. This is where hypnotherapy comes in.

Hypnotherapy and Weight Loss

The hypnotherapist will normally ask you to attend the practice for a minimum of three hourly sessions. These are spaced one week apart for sessions one and two. The third session is a month later to ensure you are on track and aims to boost you towards your desired weight.

At the first session, the hypnotherapist will question your motives behind the desire to change weight to ensure that the reasons are healthy and appropriate. You will be given a self hypnosis tape for you to listen to in between sessions. The tape helps motivate you to continue your weight control program.
